Darshan’s birthday on February 16 was celebrated quietly this year, as the Kannada actor expressed his regrets for not being able to meet his fans due to health concerns. In a heartfelt video message, he reassured his supporters that he would meet them soon and urged them not to believe any rumors about his career.

While the birthday celebrations were subdued, several major film announcements added excitement. The highlight was the release of The Devil teaser, giving fans their first glimpse of Darshan in an intense, action-packed role. The teaser quickly went viral after being released on Saregama Kannada, amassing millions of views within hours.

Directed by Prakash Veer, The Devil marks Darshan’s second collaboration with the director after Comb. The teaser introduces Darshan in a powerful new avatar and ends with a memorable line: “The man with a deep past, and now with a crazy present. Welcome to the world of The Devil.” The film’s music is composed by Ajaneesh Loknath, with cinematography by Sudhakar S Raj. The makers plan to resume shooting soon.
