In the second ODI between and England, made headlines by delivering an over in just 73 seconds. This remarkable feat occurred during the 24th over, which he bowled to Harry Brook as a maiden over (no runs scored).
An X user, Muffadal Vohra, shared this information on social media, claiming that Jadeja completed the over in just 73 seconds. However, this claim has not been officially verified.
Interestingly, this is not Jadeja’s fastest over in international cricket. His quickest came during the 2021 India vs. England 4th Test, where he bowled an over in just 64 seconds. He also holds the record for the third-fastest over, delivering one in 93 seconds during the World Test Championship final against Australia.
Jadeja’s ability to bowl at such a rapid pace not only keeps the game moving swiftly but also puts pressure on batters, giving them less time to settle and think between deliveries.
England on course for a stiff total after Jos Buttler wins toss
