Pakistani actress Mawra Hocane, known for her excellent performances in dramas like Jafa and Nauroz, has made 2025 a memorable year by starting a special new journey in her life.

Though Mawra Hocane has worked with many stars, her on-screen partnership with actor Ameer Gilani proved to be significant, as the two decided to spend their lives together.

Mawra Hocane and Ameer Gilani are among those star couples who stole hearts with their magical on-screen chemistry. However, they rarely were seen in public openly embracing each other in real life. The couple married on February 5, and as soon as their wedding pictures surfaced on social media, they spread like wildfire. The couple first announced their marriage through a royal photoshoot at Lahore Fort, but they later shared pictures from the stunning Nikah ceremony and a video beautifully captured for social media.

The wedding video made fans feel as if they were personally attending the ceremony since it included all the significant moments. On February 6, the day after the Nikah, the couple held their Shendi (a combination of Mehndi and Shaadi) that took place during the daytime instead of the evening. Mawra Hocane sported a soft pink bridal ensemble for the occasion, while Ameer Gilani twinned with her in a pastel pink sherwani.

There are plenty of pictures and videos of the Shendi coming out on social media, from dance clips to the grand entry of the bride and groom. Ameer Gilani came out first with his family dancing to a Pashto song. The whole crew joined in and made it more lively. However, it was Mawra Hocane’s entry that became the talk of the town. She decided not to go for a usual bridal song and instead settled for the Bollywood number Dheeme Dheeme from the movie Zubeidaa.

Under a floral canopy held by her brother, brother-in-law Farhan Saeed, and content creator and drama critic Hassan Choudary, Mawra Hocane walked gracefully towards Ameer Gilani, softly singing along to the song and exchanging love-filled gestures with her groom. This heartwarming entrance, combined with the romantic song choice, has left fans gushing over Mawra and Ameer’s fairytale wedding celebrations.
