Dubai Visa for Indians: An easy guide

Dubai is famous for its magnificent sky -touching buildings, grand shopping malls and desert Safari. But before traveling to Dubai, you have to understand the process of visa and all the information to it. In this blog, we will tell you what kind of visas are available, what are their fees and how to apply, so that there is no obstacle in your visit to Dubai.


1. Types of Dubai Visa

Tourism Visa:
If you are going to visit Dubai, shop or meet family, then this is the best option for you.

  • 30 day visa: Its fee ranges between ₹ 7,000 to ₹ 8,000.
  • 60 day visa: For a short long journey, its fee is slightly higher.

Visa on Arrival (visa on arrival):
If you have a valid American, British or Schengen visa, you can get a visa as soon as you reach Dubai.

  • Its fee is AED 100 to AED 120 (about INR 2,500–3,000).

Transit Visa:
If you stay in Dubai for only a few days, such as 48 or 96 hours, then you have to take a transit visa.

  • Its fee is relatively low.

Business or Work Visa:
If you are going in connection with business or work in Dubai, there are different visa options for this. Their rules and fees depend on your objective.


2. What does visa fee decide?

Your visa fee depends on many things:

  • Visa period and type:
    30 days, 60 days or long periods – are different fees for each one.
    There is also a difference between single (single entry) visa and multiple entry visa.
  • Additional Fee:
    Sometimes travel agency or online platforms also charge additional fees for their service.
    Therefore, it is very important to get information about total expenses before applying.
  • Currency exchange rate:
    Since visa fees are in AED or other foreign currencies, the exchange rate can also be affected when Indian rupees are turned into rupees.

3. How to apply for Visa?

Online application:
Nowadays most visas are found online. You can apply through a government e-visa portal or any reliable travel agency.
Just you have to keep the following documents ready:

  • Passport: There should be a validity of at least 6 months.
  • Passport Size Photo: Clean and good quality.
  • Travel confirmation: Copy of flight tickets and hotel booking.
  • Financial proof: Bank statement or any other financial document.

Payment of fees:
You can easily pay through credit/debit card, UPI or net banking.
