Annual and lifetime free toll passes for 15 years will be available for Rs 3000 and Rs 30,000 respectively. After the implementation of this scheme, lakhs of passengers traveling on national highways will get direct benefit.

According to reports, after this new rule, the crowd at the toll plaza will also be reduced. The central government is soon going to start the facility of annual or lifetime toll pass at tollgates in India. According to the proposal of the central government, passengers will get the facility to travel through toll pass for just Rs 3,000 per month.

According to reports, this proposal is in the final stage with the Ministry of Road Transport. Regarding this, the ministry is considering reducing the toll rate per kilometer for cars. This will give peace of mind to the people walking on the highway. You can proceed only after paying the prescribed amount at these toll gates. But now the decision taken by the Union Road Transport and Highways Department will give peace of mind to all the drivers.

At present, monthly passes are available at toll plazas. While this monthly pass is available for Rs 340 per month, the annual fee is Rs 4,080. However, if it is reduced to Rs 3000 now, hundreds of passengers will benefit for unlimited travel on the entire national highway network.

Union Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari said, a plan is being made to ensure that vehicle owners drive their vehicles peacefully. Discussions are going on about the pass scheme at toll plazas.
