Ponman Box Office Collection Day 7: On January 30, the Malayalam comedy film starring Basil Joseph was released in theaters. Both the reviewers and the crowd had differing opinions about it. With merely lakhs of rupees made at the box office, the film has been suffering. The movie made the least money on its opening Wednesday. Given the state of the box office, it may not reach the Rs 10 crore milestone for some time. Well, the whole box office result may be altered by a little improvement.
On day seven, the film brought in Rs 0.39 crore, according to Sacnilk. Ponman has brought in a total of Rs 5.23 crore. On Wednesday, the movie’s entire Malayalam theater occupancy rate was 16.06 percent. During morning performances, it had 13.60 percent occupancy; afternoon shows, 12.26 percent; evening shows, 14.40 percent; and night shows, 23.96 percent.

A gold trader loans several gold goods for a country wedding in the film. He soon learns that the criminal husband of the bride intends to murder him in order to retain the riches. Basil Joseph, Sajin Gopu, Lijo Mol Jose, Anand Manmadhan, Deepak Parambol, Kiran Peethambaran, and Jaya Kurup all play important parts in the comedy-drama. Jotish Shankar directed it, while Justin Mathew and GR Indugopan wrote the script. Vinayaka Ajith has endorsed the film.
