Labour's new Border Bill has nothing to do with securing our borders - it's about surrendering them. It is a total capitulation to people smugglers and is a charter for illegal immigrants.

The Labour Bill now offers illegal immigrants a pathway to citizenship, rewarding those who flout our laws with the ultimate prize: a British passport. We will fight this tooth and nail.

The Bill enables criminals who cross into our country illegally to eventually gain British citizenship. It's an injustice.

While hard-working, law-abiding families play by the rules, Labour wants to fast-track criminals so the Home Secretary, , can pretend to be taking action.

Let me be clear. Incentivising illegal crossings like this will only serve to fuel the human trafficking gangs that profit from human misery.

The only way to stop illegal immigrants crossing the Channel is to make sure they are immediately removed the minute their feet touch the shore.

Yet Labour cancelled the previous Government's plan before it even started - and this Bill now makes starting it impossible.

This Bill undermines the integrity of the British immigration system and threatens our national security.

It is a slap in the face to every British citizen who rightly expects fairness, security, and control over the borders that keep us safe.

But it doesn't have to be like this. We can be tough on immigration - no backdoors, shortcuts, or easy wins for criminals.

Labour should commit to border security, protecting British jobs, British values, and the safety of Britons everywhere.

The Conservatives have seen past success in this area, cracking down on illegal routes, and striking deportation deals with other countries, and we've called now for stricter visa controls and a hard, low cap on visa numbers. Every illegal immigrant must be immediately removed.

That is why we will oppose this dangerous Bill every step of the way and fight to restore common sense to Britain's borders.

Labour's reckless plan rewards lawbreakers and risks Britain's border security.

It sells our country out, incentivising criminal activity with the promise of a golden ticket if they keep at it long enough.

We must say no to backdoor citizenship, no to open borders, and no to Labour's bare-faced betrayal of Britain.

We deserve better than a government whose first instinct is to reward criminals and punish the law-abiding British public who are rightly concerned about our border security.
