The country's first AI University is going to be formed in Maharashtra. The Maharashtra government has taken a big step to prepare its blueprint.
Maharashtra Information Technology Minister Ashish Shelar has said that a task force has been formed for planning and implementing the country's first artificial intelligence (AI) University in the state.
Minister Shelar said on Saturday evening that this university will promote research and development in AI and its fields and will be the center of excellence. He said that this university will encourage cooperation between industry, education and government.
Minister Ashish Shelar said that the task force constituted includes experts from education, industry and government. He said that this task force will work towards creating an institute focused on AI education, research and innovation. The minister said that this initiative is in line with the Bharatiya Janata Party's election manifesto, which emphasized the use of technology for development.
The Minister of Information Technology of Maharashtra said that the university will promote research and development in AI and fields. It will also focus on skill development, technology innovation and policy making. It aims to make Maharashtra the center of AI education and innovation. ”

Rajiv Gandhi Vigyan and Technology Commission and experts of the Data Security Council of India are also included in the Task Fares.
