Those who died include five women and four men.
According to the police, there were 14 people in the cruiser car. An 11 -year -old teenager survived the accident. The rescue team took Kishore alive from the canal. The diver and rescue team reached the spot as soon as the news of the car collapsed in the canal. The rescue team recovered seven bodies from Kalawali area after hours of hard work. The rest of the people did not know anything anywhere. It is being told that the cruiser car, who was a victim of the accident, was returning from Punjab, but at night fell into the canal near Sardarewala village in Ratia, Fatehabad.
According to the police, there were a total of 14 people in the car. The bodies of the deceased have met Kaluwana Rajwaha from Gadrana village in Kalawali police station area. Currently, the team of NDRF and SDRF is searching for the missing people.
According to the police, most of the people in the car were residents of Mahmara village. All the people were returning from a village in Fazilka district of Punjab after attending a wedding ceremony. Police said that when the car reached Sardarewala village, the driver lost control of the car due to a dense fog and the car fell into the Bhakra canal. Ratia Deputy Superintendent of Police Sanjay Kumar said that so far nine bodies have been recovered, and three other missing passengers are being tried.
