IPU Admission 2025: The race to apply for admission in UG, PG and PhD in the academic session 2025-26 in Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (IPU) is going to start from February 1. Candidates can apply online for more than 40 thousand seats of undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD programs in 106 colleges, and 18 university schools (departments) affiliated to IPU from www.ipu.ac.in.

Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Mahesh Verma released the admission brochure (prospectus) for the admission process on Tuesday. This time not only single girls but students will also get the benefit of sports quota. In this year's admission process, some new programs are being started at UG and PG levels.

These include a three-year LLB program as well as an MSc in Molecular Diagnostics, an MSc in Microbiology, BPT Physiotherapy, a PG Program in Applied Geo-Informatics, and a PG Diploma Course in Radiological Physics. Due to this, more than 250 seats will be added to the total seats. Last year, around 1600 new seats were added. Releasing the brochure, Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Mahesh Verma said that from this time one seat in each program will be reserved for single girl quota to give benefit to girls in studies. Along with this, to promote sports among students, now admissions will also be done in IPU through sports quota. Under the sports quota, a maximum of two percent of the admission in a particular program will be filled through the sports quota.

Admission can be taken through many means.
Admission to IPU can be taken through many means. Which includes national-level entrance examinations (JEE Mains, NEET, UG, PG, CAT, CMAT, NIMSET, CLAT (UG-PG), NATA). At the second level, admission will be done through IPU's Common Entrance Test (CET), CUET UG, and PG and in some programs through the merit of qualifying examinations. If seats are vacant, admissions will be done through CUET (Common University Entrance Test) in 20 undergraduate degree programs and 18 postgraduate degree programs.

CET will be held from 26 April to 18 May

A total of 52 Common Entrance Tests (CET) will be organized for admission to IPU between 26 April and 18 May. Centers will be set up in different cities for this. A center will be set up for this entrance exam in any city from which more than 50 applications are received. Admission to in MBA will be through CAT, LLB, and LLM through CLAT UG-PG. Online counseling for this will start on May 1. Online and offline counseling for other programs will start on June 2.
