Veer Pahariya, the grandson of former Maharashtra Chief Minister Sushilkumar Shinde, is all set to make his acting debut in the movie Sky Force. Set against the backdrop of the 1965 India-Pakistan Air War, this film is led by Akshay Kumar and features Veer as an Indian Air Force officer. It is produced by Dinesh Vijan, Jyoti Deshpande and Amar Kaushik and will be released on January 24, 2025.

Veer Pahariya was born in 1995 to Smriti Shinde, the owner of Sobo Films Pvt Ltd, a media and production company. He is the grandson of Sushilkumar Shinde, a well-known politician who served as the Chief Minister of Maharashtra. Veer is perhaps also recognized for his previous relationship with actress Sara Ali Khan. The two were in the public eye and Sara confirmed the same in an interview with Filmfare, saying, “He’s the only one I have dated. I have had no other boyfriends in my life.”

Interestingly, Veer’s brother Shikhar Pahariya is currently dating actress Janhvi Kapoor. While the actor hasn’t confirmed who is he seeing currently, Veer has been lately linked with former Miss Universe Harnaaz Kaur Sandhu and former Miss World Manushi Chillar. Before stepping in front of the camera, Veer Pahariya worked behind the scenes in Bollywood.

He was an assistant director on the 2022 film Bhediya, starring Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon. He is also friends with high-profile people like Anant Ambani, the son of Mukesh Ambani, and Radhika Merchant. Veer has been seen at various intimate gatherings within the Ambani family including their wedding.

Directed by Abhishek Anil Kapur and Sandeep Kewlani, Sky Force features Veer opposite his ex-girlfriend Sara Ali Khan. The actioner also stars Nimrat Kaur, Sharad Kelkar, Mohit Chauhan and Manish Chaudhari among others. Written by Sandeep Kewlani, Aamil Keeyan Khan, Carl Austin and Niren Bhatt, Sky Force is edited by A. Sreekar Prasad and cinematographed by Santhana Krishnan Ravichandran.
