On the night of January 16, a thief knocked at the house of Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan in Bandra and attacked the actor with a sharp weapon. During this, Saif got stabbed 6-7 times and he was immediately admitted to the hospital. At present, if the latest reports are to be believed, the police has taken Mohammad Shariful Islam, who attacked Saif's house, into custody. On the other hand, the latest update has also come regarding Saif Ali Khan's health. Saif's sister and Bollywood actress Soha Ali Khan on Sunday gave her brother's health update and expressed happiness that he is recovering.

Soha Ali Khan said that her brother Saif Ali Khan is recovering well from the injuries sustained in the recent attack on his house. While talking to the media, Soha said- We are very happy that Saif is recovering. We are grateful, we feel blessed that his condition did not get worse. Thank you for your good wishes.

What was the matter?

The attacker stabbed 54-year-old Saif with a knife several times in his house located on the 12th floor of Satguru Sharan Building in Bandra. This incident has once again raised questions on the safety of artists in Mumbai. Doctors who performed emergency surgery on Saif at Lilavati Hospital later removed a 2.5-inch piece of the broken knife from his spine. Doctors said that if the knife had penetrated two millimeters more, serious injuries could have been caused and Saif could have taken more time to recover. The police on Sunday produced a 30-year-old man arrested in connection with the January 16 attack on Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan in a Mumbai court.

An officer said in this case that he was produced in the Bandra vacation court at 1.30 pm for police custody, from where he has been sent to the custody of Mumbai Police till January 24. Earlier in the day, police identified the alleged attacker as Mohammad Shariful Islam Shahzad. The detained accused is a citizen of Bangladesh and had changed his name to Bijoy Das after entering India illegally. At present the police is investigating the matter more deeply.
