Coldplay 's Chris Martin and Hollywood actress Dakota Johnson , known for her role in Fifty Shades of Grey, charmed fans in Mumbai as they prepared for the band’s much-awaited India concerts. The couple was spotted visiting the iconic Shri Babulnath Temple on Friday, seeking blessings from Lord Shiva before their upcoming performances.
Chris, embracing the local culture, wore a pastel blue kurta paired with a Rudraksha mala, while Dakota kept it simple in a printed cotton suit, with her head respectfully covered by a dupatta. The couple, visibly engaged in the spiritual experience, posed for photographers before heading inside the temple.

One heartwarming moment was when Dakota whispered her wish into the ear of Nandi, Lord Shiva’s sacred bull - a gesture traditionally believed to fulfill prayers. Videos and photos from the visit quickly went viral, showcasing the duo’s deep respect for Indian customs.

Their visit comes ahead of Coldplay’s performances as part of their Music of the Spheres World Tour. The band is set to perform three concerts at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai on January 18, 19, and 21, with a grand finale at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on January 25.
The couple’s arrival in Mumbai on Thursday evening also made headlines. Chris greeted photographers with a warm “Namaste,” connecting with fans instantly. Dakota, known for her roles in Fifty Shades of Grey and Madame Web, was equally grounded in her demeanor.

Coldplay’s connection with India goes back to their 2016 performance at the Global Citizen Festival in Mumbai, making this tour another exciting chapter for the band and their fans in India.
