Bollywood actor Vicky Kaushal has been making headlines since the release of the teaser for his upcoming film Chhava. He has an impressive lineup of major films ahead.

According to reports, Aditya Chopra has reportedly approached Vicky Kaushal to play the lead police officer in Dhoom 4, a role previously played by Abhishek Bachchan.

Media sources suggest that landing a role in a franchise like Dhoom can significantly boost an actor’s career. However, Vicky’s involvement in the film depends on his availability as he is booked until 2026.

Both Vicky and Aditya are trying to align their schedules. Sources also reveal that they are discussing additional projects.

Speculation is rife that Yash Raj Films head Aditya Chopra is keen on casting Vicky Kaushal in lead roles for other major franchise films besides Dhoom 4.

Aditya Chopra is expanding his Spy Universe and is eager to introduce fresh faces. He envisions Vicky playing the lead police role solo but the project is still in its early stages. The studio is currently observing how Alpha, an upcoming Spy Universe film starring Alia Bhatt and Sharvari performs at the box office before finalizing plans.

Following the success of Bad News alongside Triptii Dimri, Vicky Kaushal is currently working on three period films.

In Chhava, set to release this year, he will portray Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj.

Additionally, Vicky will play a significant role in Love & War alongside Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor.

His biggest film yet, Maha Avatar directed by Amar Kaushik is slated for a Christmas 2026 release.
