The property, located in the upscale Tierra del Rey Estates, spans 2.7 acres and even includes access to a private lake, according to the Palm Beach Post.

The 58-year-old former heavyweight boxing champion returned to the ring at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, for an exhibition bout against Paul. Despite not having boxed professionally in nearly two decades, Tyson faced the 27-year-old YouTuber-turned-boxer in an eight-round match. Paul secured a unanimous decision victory in what was one of the most anticipated events of the year.

Netflix broadcasted the fight globally and broke viewership records. While exact payouts remain undisclosed, Tyson is believed to have earned roughly $20 million from the fight.

After that, Tyson invested a portion of his earnings from the fight in the luxurious Florida property.

The Mirror reported that a special warranty deed confirmed Tyson as the new owner of the property and quoted Joseph Jonathan Schneider, Tyson’s representative on the sale.

“This has been a successful transaction with all the parties demonstrating professionalism and collaboration. The Tyson family has been a valued client and friend for many years, and it’s been a pleasure working with them,” Schneider said.

Back in November, Realtor Matthew Maschler revealed that Tyson’s decision to purchase in the area was influenced by his daughter’s tennis career.

“Basically, the appeal to him is his daughter plays tennis, and she plays in Delray, so he wants to be able to fly in, go see his daughter’s tennis match, go back to his plane and fly to wherever he came from,” Maschler said as quoted by The Mirror.

Tyson has indicated that his match with Paul may be the final chapter of his boxing career. After the fight, he left a heartfelt message on X, detailing the physical and emotional challenges he overcame to step back into the ring.

“This is one of those situations when you lost but still won,” Tyson said. No regrets to get in ring one last time. I almost died in June. Had 8 blood transfusions. Lost half my blood and 25 pounds in hospital and had to fight to get healthy to fight so I won.”

Known as “Iron Mike” and one of the greatest boxers of all time, Tyson, 58, retired in 2005 but returned for an exhibition match against Roy Jones Jr. in 2020.
