New Delhi: If you are keen to dive into a captivating crime thriller, Sikandar Ka Muqaddar can turn out to be the perfect watch for you this weekend. The highly-anticipated film is set to make its grand debut on the OTT giant Netflix on Friday (November 29, 2024).

Directed by the renowned filmmaker Neeraj Pandey, Sikandar Ka Muqaddar promises to enthrall audiences with its unexpected twists and gripping storyline. He was quoted as saying by ANI that the movie is a tribute to the iconic Amitabh Bachchan starrer Muqaddar Ka Sikandar.

The flick stars Avinash Tiwary as Sikandar Sharma, Tamannaah Bhatia as Kamini Singh, Rajiv Mehta as Mangesh Desai and Jimmy Shergill as Jaswinder Singh. It also features Divya Dutta, Zoya Afroz, and Ridhima Pandit, who take the entertainment quotient up a notch.

As per the news agency, Tamannaah expressed her excitement about playing her role in the film, mentioning that while she has portrayed a variety of characters in South Indian cinema, she hasn’t had many such opportunities in Hindi films. Reflecting on her co-star Jimmy, she highlighted her admiration for his ability to convey intimidation without really doing much.

Sikandar Ka Muqaddar plot

The film’s plot revolves around a high-stakes heist and spans a timeline of 15 years. It also offers an intense and adrenaline-fueled drama. The movie centers on the relentless pursuit of a hard-nosed cop chasing his prime suspects.

The flick’s power-packed trailer, unveiled online on November 11, 2024, has garnered over 45 million views on YouTube. It comes as proof of the audience’s anticipation and excitement for this thrilling cinematic experience.
