I'm A Celebrity is back for yet another series as hosts ushered ten new campmates into the Australian jungle for our viewing pleasure.

The first episode kicked off with the campers being split into groups of five, with one half meeting at a gorgeous villa while the other met up on a beach.

As viewers tuned into the inaugral episodes, they were left wondering why ITV had decided to play such dramatic music.

Fans flocked to X, formerly known as Twitter, to express their thoughts as one person said: "Whoever is responsible for the music on I'm a celeb are getting too carried away... Why are they playing a dramatic version of the lion sleeps tonight???"

Another person simply penned: "The music choice is wild sorry #imacelebrity."

Somebody else said: "WHY DO THEY DO DRAMATIC MUSIC NONE STOP. LIKE INTERSTELLAR OR SOMETHING. STOP IT ! #IMACELEB."

Despite being confused by the dramatic music playing, most fans of the show were excited about its return as a fan gushed: " I can tell that this year's series will be so iconic ."

Someone agreed: "So excited that IAC is back #imacelebrity."

The first episode saw the campmates attempting to become the first camp leaders as they took on various challenges in order to secure the highly coveted win.

Tulisa and Alan ended up winning it and the pair chose Danny and Barry to take on the first Bushtucker trial as the two were put into underground chambers and were required to unlock stars from padlocks.

However, in true I'm A Celebrity fashion, the pair were accompanied by 15 snakes as they lay down on the ground.

During the challenge, Danny shouted out that he had a snake in his trousers as an animal handler came at the end and removed the snake from his pants.

I'm A Celebrity continues tomorrow night at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX followed by I'm A Celebrity: Unpacked after the main show on ITV2.
