In this fake message, you are also told the amount of the challan and are also asked to pay it online. For this, you are given a link it, and as soon as you click on this link, an APK app gets installed on your mobile, which cleans your hard-earned money behind your back.

How can you avoid this fraud?

If you also want that you do not to fall prey to this fraud, then, first of all, you have to not trust these fake messages.

Keep in mind that such messages come from a personal mobile number, but people do not pay attention to it.

Do not make the mistake of clicking on the link given in these messages, otherwise you can become a victim of fraud.

This is how you can find out whether the challan message is real or fake
If you receive a challan message on your mobile number, you can find out whether the message is true or not. For this, you have to visit the official website of e-challan https://echallan.parivahan.gov.in/index/accused-challan. Here you have to enter your vehicle details, after which you get to know whether your vehicle has been challenged or not.
