trolled his girlfriend Paula Badosa after she posted a training clip to social media. The two tennis stars began dating last year and have been in a relationship ever since.
Tsitsipas and Badosa first connected in May 2023 after the Greek star sent the Spaniard a message during the Italian Open.
He congratulated her on her second-round victory over Ons Jabeur before the duo exchanged a series of messages.
At the weekend, the Spanish tennis federation posted a video of Badosa practising ahead of the Billie Jean King Cup Finals campaign. In the video, the 26-year-old is seen hitting shots from way behind the baseline as she moves from side to side to reach the ball.
And Tsitsipas, who , by penning in Spanish: "Did you know that you don't have to pay tolls to get close to the net?"
Badosa clearly saw the funny side as she responded by posting several laughing face emojis. And she then shared an image of herself playing a volley from close to the net.
Badosa is set to represent Spain at the Billie Jean King Cup Finals after reaching two semi-finals in her only two tournaments of this autumn's Asian swing. She announced the end of her season after withdrawing from the Japan Open.
"I'm very proud of myself," she wrote on . "I'm back where I wanted to be and where I was aiming since my comeback (one of the best players in the world again).
"Already looking forward to recover well and prepare to represent my country in Malaga for BJKC. Thank you for the support always. See you soon."
Tsitsipas, meanwhile, is currently in Turin as an alternative at the ATP Finals after missing out on a place in the tournament for the first time since 2018.
Grigor Dimitrov is also an alternative, with Jannik Sinner the favourite to win the event after tasting success at this year's Australian Open and US Open on the same surface.
Tsitsipas failed to qualify for the tournament following an underwhelming season on the court. He reached the fourth round of the Australian Open at the start of the year before enjoying a run to the quarter-finals of the French Open in June.
His season then went downhill when he was dumped out of Wimbledon by Finnish star Emil Ruusuvuori in the second round. He was then unable to make it beyond the first round of the US Open in August as he was knocked out by Australian ace Thanasi Kokkinakis.
