Mahendra Singh Mewar was elected to the Lok Sabha from Chittorgarh seat on BJP ticket in 1989. Mahendra Singh Mewar’s son Vishwaraj Singh Mewar is a BJP MLA from Nathdwara constituency in Rajsamand district and daughter-in-law Mahima Kumari is a BJP MP from Rajsamand.
