Cash withdrawal limit from ATM: There are certain limits on cash withdrawal from ATMs and these vary from bank to bank. The amount of cash a customer can withdraw from his account depends on the type of card he holds.

SBI has reduced the limit from ₹40,000 to ₹20,000. According to the lender's website, the new ATM cash withdrawal rules applicable to SBI Classic and Maestro debit cards will come into effect from October 31.

Here are the ATM cash withdrawal limits implemented by some of the top banks.

ICICI Bank

According to the official website of ICICI Bank, any customer can withdraw up to Rs 50,000 per day from any of its ATMs.

The limits on other cards are as follows:

  • ICICI Bank Privilege Banking Titanium Debit Card: ₹ 1,00,000 per day
  • ICICI Bank Smart Shopper Gold Debit Card: ₹ 75,000 per day
  • ICICI Bank Smart Shopper Silver Debit Card: ₹ 50,000 per day

SBI

SBI has reduced the cash withdrawal limit from ATM from ₹40,000 to ₹20,000. The new ATM cash withdrawal rules are applicable on SBI Classic and Maestro debit cards. SBI debit card variants come with different ATM withdrawal limits. The popular SBI Classic Debit Card comes with a daily ATM cash withdrawal limit of ₹40,000.

The limits on other cards are as follows:

  • SBI Global International Debit Card: ₹ 50,000 per day
  • SBI Platinum International Debit Card: ₹ 100,000 per day

Punjab National Bank

Punjab National Bank (PNB) has set different cash withdrawal limits for Platinum and Classic card users. Both cards come in RuPay and Master variants.

  • PNB Platinum Card: ₹ 50,000 per day
  • PNB Classic Card: ₹ 25,000 per day

Axis Bank

Axis Bank offers many debit cards. According to the bank's official website, its Burgundy debit card allows a cash withdrawal limit of ₹3 lakh per day. The bank's Titanium Prime and Plus debit cards have a withdrawal limit of ₹50,000 per day.

hdfc bank

HDFC Bank allows customers to withdraw up to Rs 1 lakh per day from ATMs with the Platinum Chip Debit Card.

Limits on other cards:

  • HDFC Bank Titanium Royal Debit Card: ₹ 75,000 per day
  • HDFC EasyShop Debit Card: ₹ 25,000 per day
  • HDFC Rupay Premium Debit Card: ₹ 25,000 per day
  • EasyShop Titanium Debit Card: ₹ 50,000 per day

Bank of Baroda

  • The withdrawal limit for Bank of Baroda RuPay Classic Card is ₹ 25,000 per day.

The limits on other cards are as follows:

  • Baroda Master Platinum Card: ₹ 50,000 per day
  • RuPay Platinum Card: ₹ 50,000 per day
  • Visa Electron Card: ₹ 25,000 per day
  • Master Classic Card: ₹ 25,000 per day
  • Visa Platinum Chip Card: ₹ 1 lakh per day
