YouTuber-turned-boxer has once again clapped back at critics who claim that the 27-year-old social media star fixes his boxing fights.

'The Problem Child' has been hit with accusations of rigging fights since he made his professional debut back in 2020. Paul initially started paving his way in the sport by taking out fellow YouTubers like Deji Olatunji (brother of KSI) and AnEsonGib, before making his way to fighting proven stars.

He has defeated of the likes of , Tyron Woodley and Ben Askren in the ring so far. With a professional record of 10-1, his only loss came at the hands of last year. And with a wealth of wins to his name, many fans of the sport were quick to call his proposed fight with Tyson 'rigged' should he reign supreme.

During a press conference earlier this year, promoting his fight with before it got cancelled, Paul had his say on the negative noise: "A lot of people are doubting me, a lot of people are saying if Jake wins then the fight is rigged because of how great he looks. Age is just a number, he's a killer and he's a warrior. He's been doing this his whole entire life so it's second nature to him. I've been doing it for four years and I've been doing it at a super-high level but I'm going to prove I can out-box Mike Tyson. I'll be the one doing the killing".

Since the fight was rebooked, many have once again slammed the decision to still go ahead with the clash as well as hitting out at the young American for fighting a 58-year-old man. Speaking on a documentary ahead of the heavyweight clash between 'The Problem Child' and 'Iron Mike', Paul has once again issued a response to the critics who claim that his bout with the former heavyweight champion is rigged.

"I beat all these fighters but then they keep on calling me this fake fighter", he said. "They should shut the f*** up because they don't know what they're talking about. What is it, guys? Like, am I a fake fighter? Am I a YouTuber? Or do you just hate me? When I beat Mike Tyson it will not change a thing. People won’t give me my credit. They never will".

Both Paul and Tyson are scheduled to go head-to-head at the AT&T Stadium in Texas. Next week's clash will see the two stars meet in a professional showdown in an eight two-minute round format - as opposed to the more standard three-minute rounds. The sanctioned fight has already been approved by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. Both boxers will wear 14-ounce gloves, heavier than the standard gloves.

Paul comes into the fight with Tyson off the back of a brutal knockout win over former UFC welterweight contender, Mike Perry back in July. As for 'Iron Mike', the boxing veteran hasn't fought a professional contest since losing to Kevin McBride nearly two decades ago. He did, however, return to the ring in an exhibition bout against fellow legend Roy Jones Jr four years ago.
