New Delhi: After having a successful run in theatres, Karthi and Arvind Swamy starrer Meiyazhagan in Tamil and Sathyam Sundaram in Telugu has arrived on OTT. The film was released in theatres on September 27 and received positive reviews for its brilliant performances, refreshing storyline and emotional score.

Tamil film Meiyazhagan made its digital debut on online streaming giant, Netflix. It is also released with the title, Sathyam Sundaram, in Telugu on the same streaming platform.  The film was released on the OTT platform on October 25 in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi. The online streaming platform also announced the arrival of the much-anticipated film by dropping a promo of the film and captioning the post, “All names mean something. Meiyazhagan means everything.”

Meiyazhagan revolves around Arulmozhi Varman, who left his ancestral home with his family after it was divided among the relatives. After the partition, the family moves to Madras and Arul returns to his ancestral home after 20 years for a cousin’s wedding. In his hometown, he meets a stranger and embarks on a journey to piece together the broken memories of his past where he uncovers a long-hidden truth and rediscovers his roots unexpectedly.
