IRCTC Recruitment 2024 General Deputy Manager: Eligibility requirements

To apply for the managerial post in the Indian railway, candidates need to fulfil the below eligibility criteria-

• Candidates need to have a degree in any discipline to apply to railways, state government, central government and government-owned autonomous bodies like the Centre for Railway Information Systems (CRIS).
• A Chartered Accountant or Cost and Management Accountant degree is necessary for Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) candidates.
• Candidates must have post-qualification experience of at least 12 years in the accounts, finance or taxation department.
• The age of the candidate needs to be 55 years as of the closing date of the vacancy notice.

IRCTC General Deputy Manager selection process

Based on the eligibility requirements, candidates will be shortlisted for an interview round. The weightage will be given to various factors such as educational qualification, professional experience, Annual Performance Assessment Reports (APARs), the personality of the candidate, general awareness and communication skills which will be accessed through the interview round.
