Trains from major cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, and Pune to states like Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, and West Bengal are experiencing long waiting lists, and many trains are already fully booked. To address this increasing passenger rush and pressure, Indian Railways has already announced Holi special trains on various routes. Fortunately, some of these trains still have seats available. In such a situation, let us tell you today that if you want to go home for Holi and can't find a ticket, there are still seats available on these 6 trains.

Delhi-Howrah Special Train - 04051/04052

For Holi, special train number 04051/04052 is running between Delhi and Howrah. Train number 04052 will depart from Delhi every day at 6:15 pm from February 27 to March 3 and arrive in Howrah at 11:40 pm the next day. Train number 04051 will depart from Howrah every day from February 27 to March 5 at 1:40 am and arrive in Delhi at 8:20 am the next day. This train will stop at Durgapur, Asansol, Chittaranjan, Madhupur, and Jasidih stations. This train is fully AC class.

Mumbai-Kathgodam Special Train - 09075/09076

For those traveling home for Holi, Western Railway has introduced a weekly special train between Mumbai Central and Kathgodam. This train will depart from Mumbai Central every Wednesday from February 25th to March 25th. On its return journey, it will depart from Kathgodam every Thursday from February 26th to March 26th at 6:30 PM. The train will stop at several stations along the way, including Vadodara, Kota, Mathura, Bareilly, and Haldwani. The train includes AC, sleeper, and general coaches.

Mumbai Central-Kanpur Anwarganj Superfast Special Train - 09185/09186

This weekly Holi train will depart from Mumbai Central every Sunday at 10:55 AM from February 22nd to March 29th and arrive at Kanpur Anwarganj at 6:35 PM the next day. This train will run from February 22nd to March 29th. Similarly, Train No. 09186 Kanpur Anwarganj Mumbai Central Special will depart Kanpur Anwarganj every Monday at 6:25 PM and arrive at Mumbai Central at 10:30 PM the next day. This train will run from February 23 to March 30. Along the way, the train will stop at Borivali, Vapi, Valsad, Vadodara, Ratlam, Kota, Gangapur City, Bharatpur, Mathura, Mathura Cantt, Hathras City, Kasganj, Farrukhabad, Kannauj, and Bilhaur stations in both directions. Train No. 09185 will have an additional stop at Surat station.

Udhna-Malda Town Special - 03418/03417

This train will depart from Udhna every Monday from March 2 to March 23 and arrive at Malda Town. On the return journey, it will depart from Malda Town every Saturday from February 28 to March 21. This train will stop at several stations along the way, including Itarsi, Satna, Prayagraj, Gaya, and Bhagalpur.

Sabarmati-Haridwar Special - 09425/09426

Sabarmati-Haridwar Special Train 09425 will run from Sabarmati to Haridwar every Monday from February 23 to March 23. Returning, Sabarmati-Haridwar Special Train 09426 will run every Tuesday, passing through Jaipur, Alwar, Delhi, Ghaziabad, and Meerut City.

Indore-Hazrat Nizamuddin Superfast Special - 09309/09310

Train number 09309 Indore-Nizamuddin Special will depart Indore every Friday and Sunday at 5 pm and arrive at Nizamuddin at 5 am the next day. This train will run from February 22 to March 27. Similarly, Train No. 09310 Nizamuddin-Indore Special will depart Nizamuddin every Saturday and Monday at 8:20 AM and arrive in Indore at 9 PM the next day. This train will run from February 23 to March 28. Along the way, the train will stop at Dewas, Ujjain, Nagda, Shamgarh, Ramganj Mandi, Kota, Sawai Madhopur, Gangapur City, Bharatpur, and Mathura stations in both directions.
