As the search for Nancy Guthrie, the mother of Today show host Savannah Guthrie, intensifies, new videos shared on social media have drawn attention to the Tucson home of Savannah’s sister, Annie Guthrie. The footage shows law enforcement officers spending several hours at the residence, raising fresh questions about the ongoing investigation.

Multiple videos posted on X and Facebook capture deputies outside Annie Guthrie’s home, with visible camera flashes suggesting that photographs were being taken inside the property. One user claimed that Annie and her husband, Tommaso Cioni, were not home at the time the footage was recorded.

Journalist Brian Entin confirmed on X that deputies were at the residence for an extended period. In one post, he wrote that flashes were still going off inside the home, indicating active documentation. In a follow-up update, Entin said all deputies eventually left the house, noting that the last officer exited wearing blue gloves after spending nearly 3 hours inside.

While Annie Guthrie has appeared publicly alongside her siblings Savannah and Camron in videos appealing for their mother’s safe return, her husband Tommaso Cioni has remained out of public view. This absence has fueled online speculation, though authorities have cautioned against drawing conclusions.

Addressing the growing rumors, the Pima County Sheriff’s Office reiterated on Saturday, February 7, that no suspects or persons of interest have been identified in the case. Officials stressed that the investigation remains active and that speculation circulating online does not reflect confirmed findings.

Despite the lack of official clarity about Tommaso Cioni’s whereabouts, investigative reporter Jonathan Lee Riches claimed on X that a private security guard was stationed outside the couple’s home on February 7. According to Riches, the guard said he was hired by the family to secure the property and manage the media presence, not to interfere with the investigation.

In recent days, Savannah Guthrie has released emotional video messages addressing whoever may be holding her mother. In one message, she urged for Nancy’s release and said the family was “ready to talk.” In a later video, Savannah stated that the family had agreed to pay ransom, signaling escalating concern over Nancy Guthrie’s safety.

As authorities continue to investigate and verify leads, officials have urged the public to avoid speculation and allow law enforcement to do its work. The disappearance of Nancy Guthrie remains unresolved, with the case drawing widespread attention both in the US and internationally.
