Bengaluru: Around 16,000 spectators are expected to attend the Neeraj Chopra Classic 2025 javelin throw event at Kanteerava Stadium, prompting the Bengaluru city police to implement traffic diversions and parking regulations around the venue to ensure smooth movement.
Authorities have urged the public to use Namma Metro and other public transportation modes due to the anticipated crowd and restricted vehicular movement.
Parking arrangements are made in St Joseph’s School for vehicles with passes attending the event, pay-and-park facility available in UB City Mall,
and King’s Way/Lane is also available under pay-and-park.
Parking is strictly prohibited on the Kasturba Road, Vittal Mallya Road, RRM Road, KG Road, Devanga Road, NR Road, Nrupathunga Road, Sheshadri Road, and both sides of Ambedkar Veedhi.
Alternate routes for heavy vehicles Goods vehicles heading from HLD Junction via KB Road toward Queen’s Junction/Shantinagar must take a right at HLD Junction → Hudson Junction → Devanga Junction → left onto Mission Road → Platform Road flyover → Residency Road.
