When Aryna Sabalenka takes to Centre Court to play Emma Raducanu on Friday afternoon, she will no doubt have her adoring boyfriend, Georgios Frangulis, cheering her on. The Brazilian founder of Oakberry - an acai bowl company - follows the No. 1 seed around the world to support her at tournaments, even getting involved in some of her practice sessions.
The pair met after three-time Major winner Sabalenka became an ambassador for Oakberry at the beginning of last year, and by May, they made their relationship public. Thanks to his success with the growing superfood brand, Frangulis has an incredible estimated net worth that eclipses both Sabalenka and Raducanu.
The Brazilian businessman is said to be worth around £55million ($75million) - not too bad when you consider that Oakberry expected to make £146m in 2024.
It means Frangulis is worth five times more than his girlfriend's opponent. According to Forbes, former US Open champion Raducanu has a net worth of £9.4m. Sabalenka, meanwhile, was Forbes' fifth-highest paid female athlete last year and is worth £13.7m.
But the 36-year-old now juggles his business with the tennis tour, and is always seen alongside Sabalenka's coaching team in her box.
Frangulis, who is also a motor sports enthusiast, previously told the Greek Herald: "I end up splitting my time between tennis matches, Oakberry, and racetracks!"
Sabalenka often credits Frangulis for his support at tournaments, though it doesn't always go to plan. After winning the Cincinnati Open last year, she accidentally hinted that she could have multiple love interests.
"And of course special thank you to my boyfriends - I said boyfriends, oh my god. That's my terrible English guys! Thank you to my boyfriend to keep me happy every day. Thank you so much," she laughed.
But there's only one man in Sabalenka's life. Frangulis, who studied law at university and is of Greek descent, is also nine years older than the Belarusian superstar, who turned 27 in May.
The age gap has never bothered the three-time Grand Slam champion, who enjoyed a boozy trip to Mykonos with her beau before the grass season. Sabalenka suffered a crushing loss in the French Open final last month and jetted straight on holiday.
"I already have a flight booked to Mykonos and alcohol, sugar. I just need couple of days to completely forget about this crazy world," the world No. 1 said at the time.
"Tequila, gummy bears, and I don't know, swimming, being like a tourist for couple of days."
Sabalnka and Frangulis later shared snaps from their quick trip to Instagram. In Greek, the 36-year-old wrote: "ELLAS with my love." Naturally, they stopped in at Oakberry for an acai bowl.
