If your mop bucket has seen better days, now's the perfect time to upgrade. Argos is offering the well-reviewed Vileda Turbo Smart Spin Mop Set for just £29.99. It's more than £15 cheaper than on Vileda'swebsite, where it is currently full price. According to customers, this spin mop is highly rated for its ease of use and deep-cleaning ability. This mop and bucket system is described as a go-to for tackling tiles, laminate, and hard floors, and there are lots of positive reviews to back it up.

Designed with a foot-pedal-powered spin system, the Vileda Turbo says it lets you control the level of moisture in the mop head, which is ideal if you're switching between wood floors and kitchen tiles. The microfibre mop head also promises to remove "99% of bacteria with just water", according to the brand. Of course, you can still add floor cleaner to the water if you want.

One happy reviewer said they were "really impressed with how quick and easy it is to wring out", adding that their floors dried in minutes. Another described it as "lightweight, sturdy and perfect for everyday spills". However, not everyone found it totally flawless.

One reviewer noted that "the mop head could be a little wider" and added that they wished it came with a spare head, though they still said it "gets the job done."

The set, available from Argos, includes the Vileda six-litre bucket with a spinning wringer that squeezes excess water from the mop, a 130 cm-long extendable handle, and a removable, washable mop head.

At the time of writing, this Vileda Turbo Smart set is £29.99 at Argos, while the same set is listed at £45 on Vileda's official site.

While the current Vileda deal at Argos makes this a great value mop set to pick up right now, there are similar options on the market.

Lakeland currently has a sale on where you can find the Leifheit Clean Twist Disc Mop with Wheeled Bucket, priced at £59.99, reduced from £62.99. Just like the Vileda, its mop head is made from microfibres and is machine washable, the bucket can hold an impressive six litres, and its handle extends from 100cm to 130cm. Plus, many customer reviews raved about the added wheels to the bucket, which they claimed made it "easy" to move around while cleaning.

However, if you're done with standard mops completely, you could consider the Shark Classic Steam Mop, which is now reduced to £39.99 from £59.99 on the Shark website. It claims to be suitable for all sealed hard floors, including hardwood, marble, tile and stone. All you have to do is fill the large 375ml flask with water, plug it in, and clean with just the power of steam. The website says its lightweight design can be moved easily around furniture, and it comes with pads that are machine washable and reusable.
