Ed Sheeran releases high-energy driving song from upcoming film F1
Ed Sheeran utilized his official Instagram account to unveil the ultimate driving anthem from Brad Pitt's forthcoming film
F1, which is set to debut on June 27. Alongside the track, he revealed the story behind its creation.
His caption stated, "I was asked to create a song for the @f1movie. I knew I wanted to craft a genuine rock song for it, a true driving anthem. Something you'd want to crank up to the maximum while driving. I wrote it in the studio with @blakeslatkin and @johnmayer, then we brought in @pino_palladino_official_ and Dave Grohl to complete the song. A pure dream team for the rock genre, and I genuinely feel what we produced fits the scene in the film perfectly."

The caption continued, "I LOVE creating songs for films, ever since I did I See Fire for The Hobbit. It really allows me, as a movie enthusiast, to help craft the ideal song for a scene in a film. Movies and art are the only interests outside of music that I truly have, and I cherish my time at the F1 whenever I get to perform there. So this felt like a match made in heaven. I'm incredibly honored to collaborate with such talented musicians on it, and I hope you all enjoy the final product. Drive out now."

Fans respond to the hit
While one social media user commented, "I may have listened to this on repeat for my entire hour+ commute to work this morning... mixed in with some of the other songs on the album... but mostly Drive. It's SOOOOO good!" another remarked, "Literally just finished watching the music video and it makes the song even better. You need to create a Rock Album or at least a Rock EP."
