On June 18, Disney concluded the major studio presentations at CineEurope, led by Andrew Cripps. The seasoned distribution executive joined the studio in March as Head of Theatrical Distribution. As per a Deadline report, while exhibitors were also presented with a new trailer for Fantastic Four: The First Steps, Marvel head Kevin Feige hinted that Avengers: Doomsday is currently being filmed in London and is set to premiere in December 2026. He also confirmed that the storyline of Fantastic Four will directly transition into Doomsday.

Fantastic Four encounters Doctor Doom
This aligns with the existing fan theories that the reboot of Fantastic Four by Marvel Studios, following the acquisition of 20th Century Fox, is a pivotal move that has now opened avenues for the MCU to incorporate various narratives surrounding the newly formed team, who have been essential to Marvel Comics. Fans have been theorizing how the new superheroes will confront Marvel's latest supervillain Doctor Doom, portrayed by Robert Downey Jr. in Avengers: Doomsday. There are widespread reports that the Fantastic Four, along with the X-Men and Avengers, will join forces against Doom, placing F4 at the forefront. According to Marvel Comics, Doom is the primary antagonist in the F4 franchise and the arch-nemesis of Reed Richards. We have already seen a hint of their arrival to Earth-616 in the post-credits of Thunderbolts, also referred to as The New Avengers.
