The document scan feature has arrived on WhatsApp, but till now this feature was available only in iPhones. At the same time, now soon Android users are going to get this feature.

WhatsApp is India's popular instant messaging app. This instant messaging company keeps bringing new features for its users. Some time ago, the company rolled out a useful Document Scan feature for its users. However, at that time this feature was introduced specifically for iOS users. At the same time, now the wait of Android users is also going to end. If the latest leaked report is to be believed, soon Android users are also going to get the document scan feature in WhatsApp. Let's know all the details.

Wabetainfo in its latest report has given information about the document scan feature for Android phones, citing the WhatsApp beta for Android 2.25.18.29 update. If the report is to be believed, soon Android users are going to get the option of built-in document scan in WhatsApp.

The screenshot of this feature has also been shared in the report. It can be seen in the screenshot that Android users are going to get the new option of document scan under the document sharing feature. To share the document, users will first have to click on attachments and then go to documents. Till now, in the document section, you get the options of Browse Documents and Choose From Gallery. However, after the new update, a new option of 'Scan Document' can be added to it, under which you will be able to scan any document through WhatsApp.

Apart from this, under the new Android document sharing feature of WhatsApp, users will get two options to scan documents, which include Manual and Auto Capture. In manual, you can scan the documents yourself and adjust its edge. In Auto Capture, the app will automatically adjust the edges of the documents for you.

At present, this feature is in the development stage which may take some time to roll out. If you are also an Android user, then you may have to wait a little longer for the new document scan feature.
