If someone loses his job in Norway, the government gives him financial help like a salary every month till he gets the next job. This facility can be availed for about two years.

The policies of many countries in the world are very beneficial for their citizens. One such unique system is seen in Norway. If a person loses his job, he does not have to sit idle. The Norwegian government gives financial help to unemployed people so that they can look for their next job without stress.

According to reports, the Norwegian government gives 'Unemployment Benefits' to its citizens. This means that if a person loses his job, he keeps getting a fixed amount every month from the government. This help is given until that person gets another job or a fixed time limit is completed.

How much salary is received?

Under this scheme, an unemployed person gets an amount of up to 62.4% on the basis of his previous salary. That is, if you used to get Rs 1 lakh in your previous job, then you can get about Rs 62,000 from the government even in unemployment. However, there are some conditions for this.

What are the conditions?

The person should have earned at least a certain income in the last 12 months

He should not have left the job on his own (eg not resigned)

The person should be constantly looking for a new job

For how long does one get this benefit?

The Norwegian government gives this benefit for 2 years. But it depends on how long and how much income the person has earned before losing the job. Also, the person receiving unemployment allowance has to share the information of job search and interview from time to time so that it can be proved that he is really trying for a new job.

Why is Norway's system special?

Norway is counted among the happiest countries in the world. A big reason for this is the social security system there. The government takes full care of the needs of its citizens - whether it is health, education or unemployment. Because of this, people try to move forward without any mental pressure and their trust in the system remains intact.
