Best Recharge Plan for OTT Lovers: Nowadays everyone likes to watch web series and movies on OTT platforms. Amidst the growing demand for OTT content in India, telecom companies Airtel, Jio, and Vi are expanding their digital streaming services. These companies are including subscriptions to popular streaming platforms in prepaid plans, giving customers more entertainment benefits without any extra cost. In such a situation, if you are also an OTT lover and are looking for a cheap prepaid plan, then this news is for you. We will tell you about some such prepaid plans of Airtel, Jio, and Vodafone Idea (Vi), which offer more benefits at a lower price. Airtel's prepaid plan Airtel's Rs 301 plan is one of the most affordable options, which also includes OTT access. In this plan, customers get unlimited local and roaming voice calls, 100 SMS per day and 1GB 5G data for 28 days. The specialty of this plan is 28 days of JioCinema (formerly JioHotstar) subscription, allowing users to stream a variety of content including sports and entertainment.

After the daily data quota is exhausted, the browsing speed drops to 16kbps. Under the Fair Usage Policy (FUP), sending SMSes beyond the daily limit is charged Re 1 for local messages and Rs 1.5 for STD messages.

Reliance Jio

Reliance Jio is offering an OTT prepaid plan with its Rs 299 pack. It includes 1.5GB True 5G data every day for 28 days (total of 42GB), unlimited local and STD calls, and 100 SMS per day. The specialty of this plan is that it offers three months of JioCinema mobile subscription worth Rs 149 for free.

Apart from this, it also offers access to JioTV and 50GB Jio AICloud storage. After the daily data cap is reached, the speed drops to 64kbps. Users should note that they will have to recharge within 48 hours of the plan expiry to maintain uninterrupted access to the OTT subscription.

Vodafone Idea

Vodafone Idea's Rs 239 plan is the lowest priced option among the three, which offers OTT benefits along with a month of JioCinema subscription. It includes unlimited local and roaming calls, a total of 300 SMS, and just 2GB of data for a validity period of 28 days. After the data is exhausted, users are charged Rs 0.5 per MB.

While it meets basic mobile needs and also offers OTT access, it lacks the higher daily data and additional app benefits offered by Airtel and Jio prepaid plans.

Consumers who want more data and benefits can consider upgrading to Vi's ₹ 399 plan. This plan also includes 2GB daily data, 100 SMS/day, unlimited calls, and one month of OTT access with weekend data rollover, reports Gadgets 360.

Overall, Airtel's ₹ 301 prepaid plan is the most expensive of the three, while Vi's ₹ 239 plan is the cheapest. But Jio's ₹ 299 plan is the best value-for-money option, which includes daily True 5G data, unlimited voice calls, 100 SMS per day, access to JioTV, and 50GB of Jio AICloud storage.
