Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai recently made a seven-year leap. In order to enhance TRP ratings , the producers took a leap and incorporated some new characters into the show, which stars Samridhii Shukla and Rohit Purohit . Rahul Sharma has joined the show as Anshuman. He is currently Abhira's business partner. As Abhira has been separated from Armaan for seven years, Kaveri and Vidya have already evaluated him as a potential love partner. They want her to move forward in life. However, there are twists.
In Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Armaan (Rohit Purohit) and Abhira (Samridhii Shukla) will meet again. After being separated for seven years, Abhira and Armaan will reconcile, due to Anshuman. In the forthcoming episodes of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Abhira will have the opportunity to present her sarees at a fashion event. It will be organised by Anshuman. The surprise in the story will be when Anshuman asks Armaan to host the event. Armaan now works as a radio jockey following his leap. So now he will have the opportunity to host an event. So, surprisingly or not, Armaan and Abhira will be attending the same event. They may meet face to face. But does this mean that Abhira will learn about Pookie?
Following the leap, Armaan relocated to Mount Abu with his daughter Pookie, also known as Maira. He didn't tell Abhira about it. She is still looking for her daughter and hopes to meet her. However, Armaan does not wish to maintain any contact with Abhira or the Poddars. Even for Maira's dancing competition, he refused to send her to Udaipur, which is where the Poddars live.
