Delhi Traffic Update: If you're planning to travel near IP Marg and ITO, it's essential to adjust your travel plans. The Delhi Traffic Police have released an advisory detailing the restrictions and diversions that will be implemented on Monday across various routes. Commuters are encouraged to avoid these areas during the specified times and consider alternative routes. These traffic measures are being enforced due to urgent circumstances. The advisory was shared by the Delhi Traffic Police via a post on X, indicating that the traffic restrictions will be active from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM on Monday, June 2.


The Delhi Traffic Police stated on X, “On 02.06.25, due to exigencies, traffic restrictions and diversions will be enforced on both carriageways and service roads around IP Marg, ITO crossing, Vikas Marg, MGM IP flyover, DDU Marg, and BSZ Marg from W point to A Point up to Delhi Gate. Commuters are advised to avoid these routes from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM and utilize alternative roads for a smoother journey.”


“Parking will be permitted only in designated areas,” the advisory further noted.



Upcoming Traffic Changes

Additionally, commuters should be aware that traffic will be impacted due to the construction of an underground pipe culvert at the T-Point of Road No. 66 and G.T. Road (near Seelampur Red Light, Ghas Mandi) from June 7 to June 9.


Travelers are advised to plan their routes in advance and stay informed through the Delhi Traffic Police's updates.


The advisory from the Delhi Traffic Police mentioned, “The structure, as reported by PWD, has deteriorated and requires urgent repair to the underground pipeline. Consequently, traffic movement on both carriageways from Seelampur to Maujpur and vice versa on 66 Ft Road will be affected during the specified dates.”
