In a devastating blow to some of the nation's most popular TV shows, Strictly Come Dancing, , and have all been snubbed in this year's TRIC Award nominations.

After a staggering one million public votes were counted, the finalists for the prestigious Television and Radio Industries Club Awards (TRIC) have been revealed. While this marks a significant recognition for British TV talent, the absence of several household names has left fans stunned.

The TRIC Awards, which have been celebrating the best in British television and radio since 1969, will be held on June 24, 2025, and promises to honour the best across 17 categories. In the fiercely competitive Daytime category, popular programmes like A Place in the Sun, Escape to the Country, Richard Osman's House of Games, and have earned their spots. However, fan favourites like Loose Women and Good Morning Britain are notably absent.

Meanwhile, in the Drama category, beloved shows like All Creatures Great and Small, Baby Reindeer, Bridgerton, and Call the Midwife have secured nominations, while the BBC's Strictly misses out entirely.

The Entertainment category has also stirred up some controversy. Clarkson's Farm, Gavin and Stacey, I'm A Celebrity...
