Miss England Milla Magee: This year the Miss World competition is being held in Hyderabad, India. Meanwhile, Milla Magee, who won the title of England in the Miss World Beauty Contest, has shocked everyone by suddenly leaving the competition. Milla had arrived in India on 7 May for this international event but then on 16 May she left Hyderabad and returned to the UK. Now she has alleged that she was harassed during her stay in Telangana.

Miss England was harassed!

After returning to the UK, Milla Magee made several allegations in an interview to the British tabloid The Sun. She said, ‘The contestants were asked to mingle with the middle-aged sponsors who supported them financially. I had gone there to do something different but we were made to sit like monkeys of a juggler. I cannot be a part of this. As far as I can see, it has not changed at all. We were asked to keep the guests happy. I find this very wrong, I have not come to entertain anyone. I was made to feel like a prostitute.’

Statement from the CEO of Miss World

After Milla Magee’s allegations, Miss World CEO Julia Morley issued a statement. She said that Milla Magee gave some different reasons for leaving the competition. Miss England suddenly decided to leave Miss World when her mother’s health deteriorated. The organization understood her situation and allowed her to return. Julia Morley says that the UK media has spread false and insulting news, which has no truth in it. At the same time, Miss England’s runner-up Charlotte Grant has participated in it in place of Magee.
