Suspense crime, Digital Desk : The infamous doll that inspired many horror films including The Conjuring and Annabelle, Annabelle, has once again captured the media attention, and this time it is in New Orleans. Her participation in the cursed and paranormal artifacts traveling exhibit “The Devils On The Run Tour” has caused panic and concern after strage incidents occurred alongside her exhibition.

A Shivering Legacy Returns

The story of Annabelle trace back to the 1970s when the doll was said to have been possessed by well known paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren. This simple looking Raggedy doll was claimed to move by itself, leave spine chilling handwritten notes, and even mutilate people physically. The Warrens locked her in glass container in their occult museum located in Connecticut and cautioned people visiting not to touch her.

Now after decades of not seeing the doll, public anxiety has definitely increased, especially after hearing about the doll’s arrival to Louisiana.

Alarming Disturbing Coincidences

Popular TikTok user @keepingupwithmoniii posted a video of Annabelle that went viral. She said that within the same week Annabelle was put on display, these events also took place:

A historic plantation house mysteriously caught on fire for no reason and had been standing since the 1950s.

“Prison rats have seemingly mastered the art of escaping from a doll’s prison,” she commented on the video. “And days later, a house that has stood for over a thousand years burns to the ground.”

More Than Just A Doll?

Annabelle has long been claimed to possess a demonic energy that is accompanied with dark rituals. Lorraine Warren herself refused to look the doll in the eyes, and kept her hands balled into fists. That is shocking since she realized/opened the doll that she would have had to open the doll to see how dangerous evil it housed.

The goal of the “Devil’s On The Run Tour” was to capture the attention of adventure enthusiasts and paranormal believers with a glimpse into ghostly history. New Orleans residents, however, are starting to wonder if Annabelle is simply a symbolic representation of evil or something far darker.

The unanswered question remains: Is Annabelle merely a piece of horror fiction or does she truly possess terrifying power?
