Mumbai Veteran Bollywood star Anupam Kher says he had a great time at the Cannes Film Festival and is really grateful for the positive reaction his next film, Tanvi The Great, received. He hopes to make a comeback with a new movie, either directing or acting.

Pallavi Joshi, Boman Irani, and debutante Shubhangi Dutt were all featured in a video that Anupam posted on Instagram.

“Hello, Cannes,” Anupam can be heard saying. We really appreciate the wonderful, wonderful, and touching response to our film Tanvi The Great. Many thanks. I’m overjoyed, and this event is fantastic. The movie was warmly and lovingly appreciated.

“Thank you, it touched everyone’s heart.” We hope to see you again in a film, either as a director or an actor. I had a terrific experience, but I would really want to return. It was fantastic, and we had a great time.

The ensemble is now on route to the London premiere of the movie, according to Anupam.

“Boman Irani I’m creating a film to express my gratitude to Cannes for greeting me. Yes, sir, tell me what you want me to say. Regardless of how you feel,” he remarked.

“I don’t think you should say goodbye,” Boman said. We’ll be returning next year, so for now we’ll simply say au revoir. Reservations have been made for hotels. Although the airline has not yet come, we will return.

“Thank you for the most amazing memories and for a beautiful kickstart and for the most wonderful memories,” Shubhangi said in the video. Cannes, you will be missed. Greetings and goodwill.

“We’ll return with another fantastic film the next time,” Anupam said as she wrapped up the video. In the caption, he also expressed gratitude to the film festival.

In reference to “Tanvi The Great,” the movie is scheduled for release on July 18. Iain Glen, Boman Irani, Jackie Shroff, Arvind Swami, Pallavi Joshi, Karan Tacker, Nasser, and Shubhangi are also featured in the movie. The film, which was directed by Anupam Kher, was produced by NFDC and Kher Studios in collaboration with Lower Middle Class Corporation.

The Cannes Film Festival in 2025 had the global premiere of the heartbreaking drama. The Marché du Film hosted a screening of the movie. Anupam will be portrayed as Col. Pratap Raina in the movie.
