AJP Motos has launched a new bike for the adventure trail segment - the PR7 2025, entirely developed in Portugal and positioned as a global benchmark.

The manufacturer, founded in 1987 in Penafiel, offers a model 'unique in the global market, combining lightness, robustness, mechanical simplicity and pure performance'. Agile and suitable for on-road or off-road travel, including longer journeys, the bike appeals to purists by not featuring riding modes, traction control or configurable ABS: it is, therefore, simple to maintain, while placing control entirely in the rider's hands.

The engine is a 600 cc single-cylinder capable of delivering 64 hp of power and 68.3 Nm of torque with the optional power kit. It's a four-stroke engine with four valves, dual overhead camshaft and electronic fuel injection. The gearbox is a six-speed manual.

Equipped with a 17-litre fuel tank and a dry weight of 140 kg, AJP's new bike offers a range of over 300 km.

The frame is made of steel and aluminium, while the swingarm is manufactured entirely in aluminium. The standard version comes with a fully adjustable ZF Sachs front fork and a fully adjustable ZF Sachs rear shock absorber. However, a Gold Edition is available, featuring an Öhlins RXF fork and an Öhlins TTX shock absorber.

The Brembo braking system consists of a 300-millimetre front disc with a two-piston caliper; and a 240 mm rear brake with a single-piston caliper. The wheels are 21 inches (front) and 18 inches (rear), fitted with Michelin Tracker tyres that can be replaced with others.

With wide handlebars and a seat height of 920 mm, the AJP PR7 2025 favours an upright riding posture while ensuring comfort for riding while standing.
