Chennai: The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE), Tamil Nadu, has released the HSC or Class 12 results today. It has activated the Tamil Nadu 12th results 2025 link on May 8 at 9 am. Students can check the Tamil Nadu HSC result 2025 with their valid login credentials on the official websites at dge.tn.gov.in, tnresults.nic.in. One must use their roll number to check the TN 12th result 2025.
The Tamil Nadu Class 12 results recorded an overall pass percentage of 95.03 per cent. The girls outperformed boys with a pass percentage of 96.70%, while 93.16% of the boys cleared the exams.
As per district-wise pass percentage, Ariyalur district topped the state with 98.82 per cent, followed by Erode with 97.98 per cent, Tiruppur with 97.53 per cent, Coimbatore with 97.48 per cent and Kanniyakumari with 97.01 per cent.
Over 8 lakh students had appeared for the Tamil Nadu Class 12 board exams 2025. The written exams were held from March 3 to 25, 2025. The Directorate has also released the TN 12th marksheet 2025 along with results. Students can also download TN HSC marksheet 2025 pdf on the DigiLocker portal.

Step 8: Keep the hard copy of TN 12th marksheet for future need
The TNDGE will be displaying the marks for all subjects on the marksheet. One can collect the Tamil Nadu board Class 12 marksheet 2025 from their respective schools. The Board will also release the information about the supplementary exams after Class 12 results in due course.
