Iceland has launched a brand new money-saving scheme which gives shoppers 10% off their food shop through the month of May.
The chain's new limited-time initiative offers a 10% discount each Wednesday throughout May. This means students across the country who do their food shop at or the Food Warehouse will get money off if they pop into stores on:
To get the discount, students will need to show shop workers a valid student ID. There is no minimum spend required for the discount, and sadly, you can only claim it for in-store shops - you cannot claim it for online orders.
In addition to this, Iceland’s store located in The Leeds Merrion Shopping Centre, LS2 8ng will also have a dedicated student aisle installed, featuring some of the most popular student favourite products. This includes products from Iceland’s £1 value range to its ready meals.

The first 10 students through the tills on May will also have the chance to get their hands on a Ninja CRISPI 4-in-1 portable glass air fryer. The supermarket chain says the discount has been introduced to help support students during exam season.
Richard Walker, executive chairman at Iceland Foods, said: “At Iceland and The Food Warehouse, we’re on a mission to do the right thing by our customers.
“This month, we know that cash-strapped students will be studying and completing their exams, so the last thing they need to be worrying about is food prices. That’s why we’re giving them 10% off in stores, every single Wednesday throughout May.”
Iceland is also introducing a range of deals to help students this May, including its eight for £10 deal and five for £5. Products included in the £10 include popular bands such as Bids Eye and Chicago Town. Here's a list of some items which are part of the deal:
