Silambarasan TR made a guest appearance at today’s promotional event for his longtime friend and co-star Santhanam’s upcoming film DD Next Level. Silambarasan started his speech underscoring the importance of watching a film merely as an audience member even if it stars one’s friend. “Everyone knows that Santhanam is my friend, but I am an audience member first and foremost. That is how I watch films. I would set aside our personal bond when I watch his films,” said Silambarasan. The Mayor star then said that the first and second parts in the Dhilluku dhuddu franchise were brilliantly made. “When I watched the trailer for DD Next Levelit also looks brilliant,” said Silambarasan, making a special note of Santhanam’s comic timing and body language in the film’s trailer.

As reported earlier, Silambarasan and Santhanam are set to reunite for STR 49.

At the promotional event, Silambarasan also discussed his and Santhanam’s mutual friend Arya’s role as a producer on DD Next Levelhighlighting how it would make the film even better than if a third-party producer were involved. The Thug Life star concluded his speech conveying his best wishes to the film’s cast and crew.
