India's top music company T-Series records songs in every language. Gulshan Kumar, who founded this company, was a religious man, but he was brutally murdered. It is said that his death was caused by people from the underworld.

Under this company, recordings of songs made in every language of India are done and the foundation of this company was laid by the late Gulshan Kumar. Gulshan Kumar died about 26 years ago and his death was not natural, rather he was murdered, in which the name of the underworld came up.
Born on 5 May 1951 in Delhi, Gulshan Kumar belonged to a middle class family. Gulshan Kumar started his business in 'Super Cassettes Industry' whose office was in Noida, UP. Later a common cassette company became T-Series Music Company.
How did Gulshan Kumar build the 'T-Series' empire?
Gulshan Kumar first ran a jute shop in Delhi. Later he started repairing audio cassettes and tape recorders. Along with this, Gulshan Kumar also started recording music and making his own cassettes. Initially, Gulshan Kumar recorded bhajan cassettes and started selling the cheapest cassettes. Gulshan Kumar started selling cassettes for just Rs 10 and later built his own studio 'Super Cassettes Industry' in Delhi. Later this company shifted to Noida and was named T-Series.
Later Gulshan Kumar went to Mumbai and started his office here too. From 1985 to 1988 Gulshan Kumar gave the first opportunity to amazing singers like Sonu Nigam, Kumar Sanu, Alka Yagnik, Anuradha Podwal and Udit Narayan. In just a few years, T-Series company became one of the biggest music companies in the country.
Who killed Gulshan Kumar and why?Gulshan Kumar was a great devotee of Lord Shiva and Vaishno Devi. He used to organize Bhandara at Vaishno Devi twice a year and always used to donate for worship. According to media reports, Gulshan Kumar was receiving threats from the underworld for a long time. Those people used to demand money from him, but Gulshan Kumar used to avoid them by saying that he will donate to Vaishno Devi, but will not give money to those people.
It is said that underworld don Abu Salem had his eyes on Gulshan Kumar and he had demanded Rs 5 lakh from him. It was the day of 12th August 1997 when Gulshan Kumar went to the temple like every day and while returning he was fired upon indiscriminately. The driver took the seriously injured Gulshan Kumar to the hospital. But he died on the way.
