Bhuvan admitted, “To be honest, I used to be lazy.” “But after crossing the age of 30, I felt that the time has come to focus on my health. For the last one and a half years, I have been doing regular workouts and I have completely removed the sugar from my diet. It is now appearing on my face.” Bhuvan revealed that his unwanted weight had increased in the lockdown, while working from home was affecting his fitness. Thus, he abandoned his old methods and adopted energy instead of lethargy, which changed his body and mind.

In an interview with Hindustan Times, he revealed that a painful oral abscess had turned into a mucosel, causing swelling which was also clearly visible on the camera. As soon as the swelling began to affect his work, Bhuvan took a break from shooting to undergo surgery, resolved the problem and got back his face. He told, “It became so big that it started appearing on the camera too.” He further explained, “I was shooting at that time, but I had to take a break for surgery because it was not going well and was growing.” He also stated that “the recovery process is still going on. Sometimes there is some numbness at that place, but thankfully I have started eating and drinking in general and swelling on the camera is no longer visible.”
