New York [US] The actor Sidharth Malhotra has gone all the way to New York City to be by his pregnant wife Kiara Advani’s side as she gets ready for her big debut at the 2025 MET Gala, further demonstrating why he is the spouse that many people dream of.

On Sunday, the ‘Yodha’ actor posted a peek of his day in New York on his Instagram Stories. In one photo, the actor held a drink while sharing a glimpse of the New York City cityscape. “Gym time #hydrate,” he commented on the post. He demonstrated to his viewers how he was spending his leg day at the gym in a different video.

Kiara, who landed in New York City on Saturday, posted a photo from her hotel room, where she was greeted with open arms. The image showed a gorgeously decorated table with chocolates, a cake in the form of a little mannequin dressed in a black gown with pearls, and a vase of pink flowers. The renowned Met stairs were featured on the cover of a pamphlet named The MET Gala.

Kiara made her Cannes debut last year when she went to the Women in Cinema Gala Dinner hosted by the Red Sea Film Foundation. Her debut at the Met Gala will undoubtedly increase her popularity on a worldwide scale. Actors like Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone, and Alia Bhatt have already brought an Indian flair to the Met Gala with their breathtaking appearances.

Kiara and actor Sidharth Malhotra are now expecting their first child together. In February 2025, the couple shared a cute photo with small white crocheted baby socks to announce their pregnancy. As stated in the caption, “The greatest gift of our lives.”

They haven’t made many public appearances since, maintaining a low profile. On the sets of the war drama Shershaah, Kiara and Sidharth’s romance bloomed, and in February 2023, they were married in a small yet elegant wedding in Rajasthan.
