Gwalior (Madhya Pradesh): Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar visited Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Agricultural University on Sunday evening, where he inaugurated the Professor and Student Dialogue programme.

Accompanied by his wife, Sudesh Dhankhar and notable figures including Assembly Speaker Narendra Singh Tomar, CM Mohan Yadav and Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, the Vice President interacted with faculty and students.

Addressing the audience, Dhankhar shed light on the legacy of Vijayaraje Scindia, a six-time MP. He said, ‘There is no religion greater than national interest,’ and urged students to dedicate themselves to the cause of the nation.

Discussing the significance of farmers, Dhankhar said that they are vital providers of food and creators of destiny for the country. He recalled Pandit Lal Bahadur Shastri's slogan ‘Jai Jawan Jai Kisan’, which respects both soldiers and farmers and acknowledged how former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee and current PM Narendra Modi have expanded this motto to include scientific innovation.

Dhankhar's message resonated with the students, inspiring them to contribute positively towards the nation.
