The Kerala Cricket Association (KCA) has imposed a three -year ban on former Indian cricketer S Sreesanth, under which they will not be able to participate in any work to cricket. The action was taken after Sreesanth criticized KCA in support of Rajasthan Royals captain and Indian cricketer Sanju Samson.

S Sreesanth had made several allegations against the association, which has now resulted in the form of action. Along with this, KCA has planned to take legal action against Sanju Samson's father Samson Vishwanath, Regi Lucos and anchor of a news channel, and they can also demand compensation.

Taking action on Sreesanth, KCA said, “After the controversial remarks, KCA issued a show cause notice to other teams, Alleppi team lead content creator Sai Krishnan and Alleppey Reples, including the owner of the Kerala Premier League franchise Kollam Aries. The management advised the management to be cautious while including the members in the future. ” KCA also said that Sreesanth had made false and derogatory statements and as a owner of the Kollam Aries franchise, he violated the terms of the contract, so this action has been taken.

Complete controversy between KCA and Sreesanth

The dispute between S Sreesanth and KCA began when KCA had dropped Sanju Samson out of the Vijay Hazare Trophy team of Kerala, and was later ignored for the Champions Trophy. Sreesanth was very angry with this and he questioned KCA's policies for Samson's not being selected in the Champions Trophy. He alleged that Samson could not find a place in Team India due to the policies and mutual conflicts of the association.

Sreesanth had said, “Only one player from the state is playing at the international level, we should support him. After Sanju, KCA not prepared a single international player. We have many players like Sachin, Nidish and Vishnu Vinod, but is the association doing anything to pursue them?” After this, KCA, while targeting Sreesanth, counted the names of the players of the women's cricket team of India. The association also cited Sreesanth's 2013 spot -fixing case, and said “KCA always supports its players, whether he is in jail.”
