New Delhi New Delhi: Britain's Trade Minister Jonathan Renolds held a meeting with his Indian counterpart Piyush Goyal in London on Friday to finalize the independent trade agreement between the two countries. The meeting focused on the trade agreement between US charges.
Goyal returned to London for this dialogue, while the first two -day journey of this week ended without any final agreement. The talks on the trade agreement between Britain and India began in January 2022, when Britain tried to formulate an independent trade policy after exiting the European Union.
Both Britain and India said that recent talks have been creative, and some issues are now going to be resolved. Important areas such as a reduction in fee on alcohol and automobiles have agreed. At the same time, separate agreements are also being proposed on investment and social security, in which companies will get the right to prosecute against the government if there is unwanted loss due to changes in their policies.
